Wedding Season

A new book I'm reading is Wedding Season by Katie Fforde. I bought it last week when I bought I heart Paris. You'll probably remember I've already told you about Katie Fforde when I told you about A Perfect Proposal. This book is just as good and is really great, I've been reading it looooaaadddss.

Here's the blurb:
Sarah is a wedding planner hiding a rather inconvenient truth – she doesn't believe in love. Or not for herself, anyway. But as the confetti flutters away on the June breeze of yet another successful wedding she somehow finds herself agreeing to organise two more, on the same day and only two months away. And whilst her celebrity bride is all sweetness and light, her own sister soon starts driving her mad with her high expectations but very limited budget.

Luckily Sara has two tried and tested friends on hand to help her. Elsa, an accomplished dress designer who likes to keep a very low profile, and Bron, a multi-talented hairdresser who lives with her unreconstructed boyfriend and who'd like to go solo in more ways than one. They may be very good at their work but romance doesn't feature very highly in any of their lives.

As the big day draws near all three women find that patience is definitely a virtue in the marriage game. And as all their working hours are spent preparing for the wedding of the year plus one, they certainly haven't got any time to even think about love; or have they?

So if you like Katie Fforde's books or books like it then this is definitely for you.
Until next time.

I heart Paris... and here's why.

So in my last post I wrote about the current book I'm reading: I heart Paris by Lindsey Kelk.  The reason I bought the book is because I'm very excited about Paris at the minute because... I'm going to Paris in August! My grandad has organised it for my mum's birthday, it's her 40th. I'm so excited, I love Paris.

Dusk before dawn in Paris, France

Isn't it wonderful?

I heart Paris

At the minute I'm reading a book called I heart Paris and I find it really interesting. It's more of an adult chicklit book than a teenager or children chicklit book so if you're a younger reader I wouldn't go for it.
Here's the website for the series:
http://www.iheartparis.co.uk/

And here's the cover of the book:

Here's the blurb:
Angela is in the City of Love - but her own love life is heading for trouble...

Angela Clark is a British girl living the dream in fabulous New York. But she's never been to the romantic capital of the world - Paris. So when her lead singer boyfriend Alex suggests a trip there and she is asked to write insider's guide to the hip city - she jumps at the chance!

Meandering along charming streets, perusing Paris's hot destinations - all in the name of research - Angela decides she could get used to the joie de vivre of Paris.

But there's something awry, Angela soon realises that evil forces are at work, conspiring to sabotage her big break… And when she spots Alex having a tête-à-tête with his ex in a Paris bar - without best friend Jenny to counsel her - Angela begins to crumble.

With London and her old life only a train journey away - now is the time to decide if she should stay and face the music or return to the safety of home.
More about Paris stuff in my next post!
Untill next time.

Shoe Heaven

Yesterday the most amazing shoes I have ever seen arrived at my house! I am in love with them, they are my shoe heaven. My mum ordered them for me (isn't she absoloutley wonderful?) and I can't get enough of them.
Here's the link where you can get them from:

And here's what they look like:
Denim Floral High Tops
They cost £22 from Next and aren't they so cute! The floral parts have see-through sequins on them so it sparkles. Amazing. I'll be wearing them everwhere.
When I next where them I'll post a picture of them for you guys to see.
Untill next time.
